The experience began aboard a beautiful vintage wooden boat by Nagi Lake Como Boat Company, cruising through some of the most iconic scenery in Lake Como.
Surrounded by historic villas, dramatic mountains, and soft evening light reflecting across the water, the atmosphere felt cinematic from the very beginning. Rather than creating heavily posed imagery, we focused on movement, emotion, and natural interaction — allowing the experience itself to shape the story.
Billy & Nana brought such an effortless energy to the shoot. Between laughter on the boat, windswept moments across the lake, and quiet pauses watching the scenery drift by, the imagery naturally became a blend of editorial portraiture and documentary storytelling.

After the boat ride, we continued the evening through the streets of Como itself — embracing a more relaxed, fashion-inspired atmosphere in the heart of the city.
One of our favorite moments was stopping for gelato outside the iconic Hotel Metropole Suisse overlooking the lakefront. It felt authentically Italian in the best possible way — elegant without being overly curated.
As the light faded into blue hour, the atmosphere of Como shifted completely. The streets became quieter, the reflections softened, and the entire evening started to feel like a scene from an old European film.
This balance between luxury and spontaneity is something we always try to preserve within our Lake Como wedding photography and filmmaking approach. The goal is never simply to create beautiful images, but to document an experience in a way that still feels alive years later.
